KU DÉ TA and Grey Goose return with the third edition of the avant garde and highly lauded party series, V Series. Taking the clubbing scene to a new level, V Series brings to the table a night of superior entertainment with the most renowned commercial music stalwarts around the globe. Enter V³ on Saturday, 8 March 2014, featuring Russell Peters’s Tour DJ, Spinbad (USA), supported by KU DÉ TA resident DJs Ya5th, Suren, Deepak and Styluxtakut.
Hailed as the fastest hands in New York City, Spinbad has been celebrated as one of the leading commercial
DJs by partygoers and celebrities alike. With slick turntablism skills, Spinbad has toured with multiplatinum
artistes such as Moby, Dido and No Doubt. Most recently, Spinbad joined comedian Russell Peters
as his official DJ on his attendance record-setting international comedy tours. Spinbad has also been
chosen to represent international powerhouse brands such as Nike, T-Mobile and Pepsi both nationally and internationally, and has made appearances on premier TV programmes like Saturday Night Live, David Letterman, Jay Leno, and Conan O’Brien. Legendary London establishment and one of the top 10 clubs in
the world, Fabric, worked with Spinbad on his debut official mix album to showcase his Hip Hop finesse with mad scratching and beat juggling skills for FabricLive CD series.
A modern twist to the word, ‘vie’, meaning life in French, the V series presents a larger than life experience with a strong emphasis on entertainment by only the top DJs of mainstream music from the most musically influential corners of the world. For the first two editions, the symbolic series saw with the UK’s top Hip-Hop DJ, Shortee Blitz and USA’s DJ Shortkut, part of the turntablism movement pioneers Invisibl Skratch Piklz.
