World Gourmet Summit 2014

The World Gourmet Summit (WGS) is the pioneer and annual gastronomic extravaganza in Singapore that showcases the intricate craftsmanship of prestigious chefs; it is also an exposition of the internationally acclaimed vintners. Encompassing a series of dazzling events like the gourmet golf experience, vintner dinners and special themed and celebrity dinners, it is a gourmet spectacular specially crafted for the discerning individual who appreciates great wines and fine cuisines.

Organised by A La Carte Productions (a subsidiary of Peter Knipp Holdings Pte Ltd) and supported by the Singapore Tourism Board (STB), WGS is a world renowned epicurean platform that places our little red dot on the international world map as a central focal point for all food bon vivants, artisans and gourmands.

World Gourmet Summit 2014

What: Guest Chef Sang-Hoon Degeimbre (2 Michelin Stars)

For four special days, The White Rabbit will host two Michelin star Chef Sang-Hoon Degeimbre, presenting signatures from his award-winning restaurant L’Air du Temps. Chef Degeimbre’s brand of exquisite French cuisine with a hint of Asian influence will showcase innovative dishes such as Smoked Eel with Foie Gras Mousse and Bulgar Soufflé, Scallops with Daikon and Citrus, and his take on Bo Ssam, the Korean classic of pork belly wrapped in pickled cabbage and served with oysters.

Chef Degeimbre will be working with Head Chef of The White Rabbit, Benjamin Tan, to source for and incorporate local produce and flavours in his menu. General Manager and renowned sommelier Kelvin Tay will also be collaborating with Chef Degeimbre to create wine pairings for Chef Degeimbre’s extraordinary cuisine.
The lunch menu is priced at $55++ per person for 3 courses and $85++ per person for 5 courses. Dinner is priced at $138++ per person for 6 courses and $188++ per person for 8 courses.
