Shakespeare in the Park: The Tempest
The Singapore Repertory Theatre is back again with a world-class performance underneath the star-swept skies of Fort Canning Park, with their seasoned cast performing Shakespeare’s final play – The Tempest. Set on a remote island, The Tempest focuses on Prospero and his dealings with sorcery, while attempting to restore his daughter Miranda to her rightful place in society. Drawing heavily on the tradition of romance and tragicomedy, The Tempest is considered one of Shakespeare’s greatest works, and you definitely won’t want to miss it.

The After 10 Supperclub: Wicked Spring Awakening
This month, Mitzo Restaurant & Bar’s After 10 Supperclub will put a spin on the traditional European ‘Walpurgis Night’ that celebrates the emergence of spring. This night of revelry will surely be one to remember, especially with its fine selection of live music, champagnes, gourmet small-plates, and giveaways! Did we also mention that come midnight, ‘witches’ will join guests on the dance floor?

After Utopia
The Singapore Art Museum’s latest exhibition, ‘After Utopia: Revisiting The Ideal in Asian Contemporary Art’ will be bound to move our emotional cores as it examines humanity’s universal yearning for a better world. Featuring iconic works by Southeast Asian and Asian artists, the exhibition will explore the idea of ‘Utopia’ in 4 chapters: ‘Other Edens’, ‘The Cities and the Discontents’, ‘Legacies Left’ and ‘The Way Within’. With such breathtaking and thought-provoking overarching themes, we’ll be sure audience members will leave ruminating on their own searches for utopia.

Pleasantry & DUNCE. Present ‘Channels and Terminals’
A fundraiser for Pleasantry as they embark on their very first performance outside of Singapore at Canadian Music Week – and stopping to play in New York, Chicago and San Francisco thereafter – Channels and Terminals features a stellar line up of Pleasantry, Monster Cat, Anechois, Plain Sunset, and Cashew Chemists. Even if you haven’t been listening to them since their Bandcamp days, this would be an amazing opportunity to support local bands and talents! Additionally, the participant bands will be putting up merchandise for sale, so remember to bring the moolah!
