ArtScience Late at Home with Tim De Cotta
Joining this month’s exploration of experimental works is two-time #ArtScienceLate alumnus Tim De Cotta. The soulful vocalist and songwriter will be premiering his new release, Transition, online through ArtScience Late at Home. Immerse yourself in his heartfelt live performance of Transition that will get you reflecting on the new normal brought about by the pandemic. Stay back and join Tim in a late-night live Q&A Session where he will in conversation with Zhang Baoxin (Curator of Public Programmes) to divulge his experience of making music during such an unusual and difficult period.

Laugh Out Loud with Local Singaporean Comics
You know what they say, laughter is the best medicine. Get your dose of laughter therapy this Friday night by tuning into Singapore Stands Up Again! – a Discover online show featuring our very own local comics. Audience favourite Sam See will be hosting the show that will see comedians Qamarul Haziq, Issac Tay, Wayne Cheong (we’re proud of this fellow journalist at Esquire Singapore) and Aman Alhamid engage in an intense battle of quick-witted jokes to be the all-time CB (Comedian Boy, obviously). Regardless of who wins, a night of hearty laughter is guaranteed.

Get a Sneak Peek Inside The Creative Space With Coplu
We may not be able to jet off to Turkey just yet, but, what we can do is explore the elusive artist Coplu’s private art studio in Antalya, Turkey through his live stream. Characterised by vibrant splashes of colour and recurring motifs like heart-shaped trees and human figures, this Turkish-Candian artist’s emotive series of paintings serve as constant reminders of the power of love and familial bonds. Also, look out for his new series of artworks where he translates his paintings into palpable three-dimensional sculptures – one of which titled Nature of Love is on display in the arrival hall of Changi Airport’s Terminal four.
