A Journey of Contemporary Italian Gastronomy

The successful launch of Altro Zafferano last September marked a new chapter of the contemporary Italian restaurant. The milestone unveiled a contemporary Italian gastronomy interpreted through the South Italian lens of Executive Chef Andrea De Paola. The cuisine is shaped by his personal histories and a distinct ‘sense of place’.

The cuisine at Altro Zafferano celebrates Italy with the produce of its lands and seas. Time-honoured Italian dishes are prepared with modern techniques and perspectives deftly executed by his talented kitchen team fronted by Head Chef Daniele La Rocca.

From 17 May, the epicurean story continues with the new Journey Menu ($248 per diner) curated by both chef Andrea and chef Daniele. The new tasting menu conveys their innate love for Italy, its history, culture and food. The showcase delves deep into the evolution of their beloved cuisine while exploring flavours from different parts of Italy.

This immersive fare embodies memories of cherished food moments with their families and loved ones, and a reverence to the produce of regions they call home. The journey illuminates their culinary expertise as traditional flavours are articulated with sophisticated flair and creativity.
