There is nothing we love more here at City Nomads than shouting about local talent. In our world where mass-produced reigns and quality is often lost over quantity, it is refreshing and hopeful to find dedication and skill in independent artistry. While there is beauty in perfection, there is something eternal and genuine about the imperfection that comes from being crafted by hand.
My Vintage Jewel Box is founded by Ryn, a Singaporean jeweller who designs and hand makes uniquely one-of-a-kind jewellery from raw quality materials like silver, gold and natural gemstones. Using traditional jewellery-making techniques and tools she evokes the organic forms of nature and a sense of fluidity, with a distinct vintage flair.
Beautiful and high quality, each piece is has a delicacy and whimsy about it, probably because it has been plucked from her imagination and crafted into reality!
Ryn also accepts commissions so if you are looking to create a truly one of a kind piece, she is happy to ‘tell your story’ and create something you can cherish forever.
