Audi Fashion Festival 2013: ‘Crafting The Future’ for Singapore’s Fashion Scene

From the 15th of May, the famed Audi Fashion Festival will hit Singapore’s shores once more. With more headline designers, exciting line-ups and an array of events for fashion lovers across the red dot than ever before, Audi is set to celebrate its fifth anniversary in style.å
Quite aptly, celebrating such a landmark milestone prerequisites a grand gesture of sorts, which is why for 2013 the festival will be moving from its usual location at Ngee Ann City to the beautiful waterfront location of Marina Promenade.
In addition, the Blueprint Trade Show and Emporium, Asia Fashion Summit and the Audi Star Creation will all be taking place at the same time as Audi Fashion Festival. For the first time ever, all four events will be housed in the same vicinity, so perhaps there will be less of a need to carry flats in your bag for running here, there and everywhere between shows!
This year’s theme, ‘Crafting The Future’, will feature 5 days of shows featuring a mix of emerging and top class names from the international world of fashion. The killer line up will see established designers such as Carolina Herrera and Peter Pilotto showcasing their collections alongside local fashion design talent from RAOUL, Parco Next NEXT and Zardoze. Audi Star Creation winners from across Asia will also be showcasing their capsule collections. Not to mention, international models such as Erin Heatherton will be walking alongside iconic Singapore talent Sheila Sim & rising star Vivien Ong, both who were chosen to front the AFF Campaign wearing beautiful collars by Indonesian label TOTON.
Well, I don’t know about you, but I’m practically brimming over with excitement. What to do with so much fashion design talent happening in one place? I think the answer is, quite simply, BE THERE.
