TWENTY TWENTY @ 2 Cavan Road

A pop-up art destination is born.

2 Cavan Road, a former ship repairs factory, is an Art Deco structure dating to the 1930s, and now hosts a series of curated art events including exhibitions, workshops, and talks. Presented by the Singapore Arts Club, the colossal heritage space is activated and enriched through forms of contemporary art such as performance, video, installation.

Programs in TWENTY TWENTY include the exhibition, Strange Things, featuring works by artists such as Dawn Ng, Mike HJ Chang, Tuan Mami, and Wong Lip Chin; HUMANMAKES, an interactive exhibition, and series of workshops presented by the Recharge Foundation; “Billiard Table Chats with Beers and Artists”, a series of sessions with participating artists; heritage tours of the Jalan Besar neighbourhood.
