Canyon of Cuddles
The Canyon of Cuddles by ART-ZOO, is an exciting and vibrant inflatable art playground experience designed by Singaporean artist Jackson Tan, featuring towering inflatable cacti, colourful landscapes, and a fun ball pit. This unique combination of creation encourages active play, creativity and exploration in a safe and engaging environment.
Animal Kingdom
The Animal Kingdom showcases the extraordinary creations of renowned Japanese artists: Osamu Watanabe, Yuji Kanamaru, and Go Yayanagi. This enchanting collection invites viewers to explore the diverse and imaginative interpretations of the animal world, where each artist bring their unique perspective and style to life. Watanabe’s intricate, confectionary-inspired creations, Kanamaru’s
nostalgic and exotic pieces, and Yayanagi’s vibrant, organic artworks merge to create a rich environment where art and nature beautifully intertwine. Together, these works provide a captivating exploration of the animal world through the eyes of these established artists.
Ancient Aquarium
The Ancient Aquarium provides an immersive projective experience by Masato Inagaki and Go Ogawa, inviting visitors into a captivating aquatic world via digital art. Featuring Inagaki’s large-scale projections of marine life and Ogawa’s unique and innovative approach using light to imitate fluidity, this room creates a full scale experience for visitors where vibrant colours and fluid movements of the sea are enhanced by ambient soundscapes. This path encourages visitor contemplation on the connection between humanity and the natural world, and attempts to underscore the fragility of marine habitats and the importance of oceanic life conservation and preservation.
Garden of Senses
The Garden of Senses, is an interactive experience that combines visual, auditory, and tactile elements. A path consisting of a multi-sensory journey through a lush, stylized garden paved by iconic works by artist Yayoi Kusama. Interactive features allow visitors to experience a digital gameplay response of Kusama’s iconic artworks created by Jesse Franklin. Explore the landscapes featuring beautiful nature inspired globules in this work specially created for the exhibition.
Obliteration Room
The Obliteration Room, is an immersive installation that is initially presented as a blank white room filled with white furniture and decor. Inspired by Yayoi Kusama’s themes of infinity, obliteration, and the interconnectedness between individuals, the space transforms through visitor interaction. As more dots accumulate, the once pristine environment becomes a kaleidoscope of colours, enabling each visitor to leave their mark and be a part of the artwork itself. This installation serves as a symbol of collective imagination and the power of communal art-making, to remind us of the beauty that can arise from collaboration and shared experiences.
