Trendsetting market concept debuts on waterfront in conjunction with i Light Marina Bay 2014

Taking centerstage along the waterfront at the Event Plaza of Marina Bay Sands, PasarBella & Friends Go To Town (#PasarBellaAtiLight) brings the joie de vivre of the original trailblazing market-inspired concept established at The Grandstand literally downtown, to the heart of the central business district.

Part of i Light 2014; Asia’s only sustainable light art show, PasarBella & Friends Go To Town promises festival-goers a vibrant and convivial outdoor festival experience set against the spectacular backdrop of the city skyline. A thoughtfully-curated list* of quality traders comprising current PasarBella traders and new purveyors will offer a smorgasbord of gastronomic treats spanning fresh produce to a la minute cooked foods and homemade specialities.

Paying homage to i Light’s focus on sustainability, PasarBella & Friends Goes To Town has also adopted an organically-driven approach towards the design of the space. The 22,000 square-meter area presents PasarBella’s distinctive rustic charm through the use of mainly recycled materials; custom-made open-concept modular containers which encourages interaction with stall owners and touches such as the novel use of wooden shipping pallets that double up as tabletops and seating areas besides framing the entire market.
