Despite being the most crowded neighbourhood in Bali, hotels in Seminyak still have the luxury of space. And if you’re looking for large rooms in a boutique property, in the middle of all the action, you’ll be hard pressed to find something that meets your needs better than Petitenget 501.
Located two minutes from Petitenget Beach, and 10 minutes from the likes of Potato Head Beach Club, Sarong, and Mint on foot, Petitenget 501 might not reek of luxury, but it sure is exclusive! Boasting of a total of 7 comfortable lofts (a studio, four one-bedrooms, and two two-bedders), you can expect your stay to be a quiet one, just by the virtue of having that little hotel guests.
All the one-bedroom lofts – like the one we stayed in – actually sleep four with a Queen-sized bed and a sofa bed that sleeps two. Ranging from 65 to 70 square metres (699-753 square feet), they come with en-suite bathrooms, floor to ceiling windows with blackout curtains, international TV (Netflix included), and a fully equipped kitchenette (perfect for a small party or if you’d like to stay in and cook.
While there are limited amenities in the bathroom, Petitenget 501 provides complimentary daily laundry (2pieces) per room everyday, so that’s a plus point, in particular for longer stays. You also have the option of a complimentary platter of cut tropical fruits or a breadbasket every morning to fill your tummy before you venture out to the many cafes of Seminyak!
There’s not much in terms of facilities, except the pretty shared swimming pool surrounded with comfortable sunbeds. Since there aren’t that many hotel guests, you don’t have to worry about overcrowding.
Rates start from Rp. 850k (US$65) per night for the studio loft.
Petitenget 501 is located at Jalan Petitenget, No. 501, Seminyak, Bali, p. +62 85 100 714 443.
