Rise to Greater Heights during the 28th SEA Games with UnionPay International

This June, visitors will experience a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to enjoy the spectacular view of the 28th SEA Games from up above! Further to a cash sponsorship of more than S$1 million, UnionPay International, the Official Payment Systems Sponsor of the Games, will introduce complimentary hot air balloon rides from 2 to 16 June 2015 as part of the 28th SEA Games Carnival at the Singapore Sports Hub. For the first time, the public can enjoy a panoramic view of the Singapore Sports Hub and the surrounding areas, elevating their experience to a whole new level as we celebrate the return of the Games to Singapore after 22 years and the nation’s Golden Jubilee.

The public will be able to enjoy these exclusive hot air balloon rides during two time periods – 8am to 10am, and 5pm to 8pm. During this 15-day period, fans can expect up to a total of close to 150 hot air balloon flights, with each ride accommodating up to three passengers at a time. The hot air balloon will be anchored and each ride will reach a maximum height of 25m. For safety reasons, the hot air balloon will cease operations during the opening and closing ceremonies of the 28th SEA Games (5 & 16 June, 5-8pm).

The event will run from 5 – 16 June at Singapore Sports Hub at 2 timings (8am to 10am, and 5pm to 8pm).

Admission is free, and based on a first come first serve basis.
