Ultra Worldwide is the world’s premier electronic music festival. Road to Ultra Singapore will see superstar DJs Skrillex, Nicky Romero and Alesso take to the stage in Singapore on 19 September 2015. To kick things off, the Road To Ultra Countdown Party is happening at RAKES this Friday September 4th, featuring globally acclaimed guest DJs 4KORNERS & Mel DeBarge.
Rakes, located in Chijmes, Victoria Street, is the most debaucherous new venue to hit the Singapore nightlife scene – the Las Vegas style bottle-service club creates an immersive and sensual experience of opulent decadence. At the entrance is an experience tunnel where four individual floor to ceiling ”rooms” showcase theatrical and exotic performances that will heighten senses and pique curiously. The club is also the first of a kind for Singapore in that features an in-house champagne room holding 1,100 bottles, ensuring premium champagnes are served fast and cold.

4KORNERS
A veteran DJ of the international club scene, he has now turned his attention to creating the music he uses to move crowds. Born and raised in cultural mosaic that is Toronto, Canada, his sound is bass heavy electronic music deeply rooted in hip hop, with the Caribbean, rock, funk and pop music influences of his upbringing.
4KORNERS music has caught the ear of some of the biggest names in electronic music as he as received support from Skrillex, DJ Snake, Vice, Just Blaze, Dillon Francis, and Flosstradamus to name a few. His single “WORK”, a collaboration with Mad Decent’s TWRK was a staple from clubs to festivals for an entire year.
Mel DeBarge
Native New Yorker DJ Mel DeBarge has quickly established himself as a household name on the international party scene. Mel has emerged as a fixture at exclusive film, music, fashion, philanthropic, and private events with clients including Louis Vuitton, Giorgio Armani, Hugo Boss, GQ, Calvin Klein, Nike, Jennifer Lopez, Missy Elliott, Heidi Klum, Kimora Lee Simmons, NBC, and Vogue. A regular at America’s most recognizable nightclubs, Mel is a resident at Avenue and PH-D at The Dream Downtown (New York City), The Borgata (Atlantic City), and LIV (Miami).
This event takes place at Rakes on Sept 4, from 10pm. Entry to this party will be sold at the door on the day of the event – tickets are $30 for entry, inclusive of one drink.
