The Societe Generale Singapore Cricket Club International Rugby 7s (SCC 7s) is into its 68th edition this year, and it is back to dazzle rugby fans in Singapore with a mouth-watering line-up of world-class teams making up the largest-ever field seen at the storied tournament in what promises to be a true season of rugby.
Joining defending champions – the Borneo Eagles – will be the development squads of international rugby powerhouses South Africa, England, France and Italy. These teams will be using the SCC 7s as a training platform ahead of the upcoming international Sevens World Series, which will include Singapore as a venue in 2016. South Africa, who previously participated as the South African Vipers, are making a return after a 3-year absence and will be determined to add to their 3 Ablitt Cup titles.
The tournament this year will be held over the weekend of October 30th to November 1st, coinciding with the Final of the fifteen-a-side Rugby World Cup being played in London on October 31st. Tickets are now on sale with special early bird prices available, with various ticketing packages for general admission based on single, double and inclusive 3 day passes. All match tickets will include the RWC Party which promises to be a great festival event.
