About The Symposium
The Symposium is a quarterly series of conversations that examine Singapore through a social and cultural lens. The conversations thrive on the intimate, both with panelists and audiences, and aim to create an environment that allows audiences to participate in engaging with the speakers.
About HUNGER (Symposium #1)
In the very first edition of the Symposium, get up close and personal with Bjorn Shen (Owner of Artichoke and Bird Bird) and Michelle Lai (Event Manager of Open Farm Community) about the innate passion for food that Singaporeans share, the act of eating, the transformation of the personal kitchen, the cult of temporary pop ups and how we might reimagine eating in the 22nd century.
Audience
The event is for anyone that is fascinated with an intimate dialogue with individuals that are shaping Singapore. The emphasis is not on success stories, but more on origins, inspiration, annoyances, important failures and what makes them tick.
The Symposium takes place at the The Growell Pop-Up on Aug 22 2015, from 2pm to 3.30pm. There are only 40 RSVPS available. Tickets are priced at $13.55 inclusive of the booking fee, and are available [here](http://www.eventbrite.com/e/symposium-1-hunger-tickets-18046828550).
