This week, pamper yourself with new menus across town. For your mid-day meal, FUNAN’s Peranakan restaurant Godmama presents executive lunch sets while V Dining serves an afternoon tea prepared with the most modern culinary techniques. POLLEN celebrates its 7th Anniversary with a fourteen-hands dinner (you read that right) while Min Jiang at Dempsey starts doling out scrumptious wine pairing menus with their Chinese cuisine.
Exquisite Wine Pairings at Min Jiang at Dempsey
From now till 15 July to 1 September, Min Jiang at Dempsey is offering a 6-Course Wine Pairing Dinner Menu ($148++ per person, minimum two to dine) curated by Master Chef Goh Chee Kong. Highlights include a French Alsace Gewürztraminer Reserve, whose subtly sweet and spiced profile brings out the fragrant herbal notes of the Double-boiled Chicken Soup with Dried Scallops and Cordyceps Flower, as well as the Stark-Condé Cabernet Sauvignon (South Africa) with the Braised 10-Head Abalone with Millets and Homemade Tofu.

Celebrate POLLEN’s 7th Anniversary with 7 Unlisted Collection Chefs
To commemorate POLLEN’s 7th anniversary, be surrounded by the lush flora and fauna of Gardens by the Bay as you get a taste of a seven-course menu ($248++ per person) by seven chefs: POLLEN’s  Executive Chef Steve Allen and Pastry Chef Jasmine Mok, as well as alongside Carlos Montobbio (Esquina), Aitor Orive (Basque Kitchen by Aitor), Drew Nocente (Salted & Hung), Ivan Brehm (Nouri), and Alasdair McKenna (Burnt Ends/Meatsmith).
That’s not all, though! Till next year, the Seasonal Stories Menu ($148++) will also be offered, showcasing Chef Steve’s culinary backstory through dishes like the Sea & Sand, served with pickled cockles, prawns, and mussels.

Peranakan Heirloom Recipes with Godmama’s Lunch Deals
As the newly-opened FUNAN is currently enjoying being the centre of attention, why not head over at lunch time? Satisfy your Peranakan cravings with Godmama’s eight new set lunches. The signature Babi Assam ($13.90++) of pork is a spicy yet tangy tamarind stew, while the Sambal Udang ($17.90++) features fresh tiger prawns tossed in homemade sambal sauce. Lift your pinky finger while you savour the Taste of Asia with V Dining’s new afternoon tea in Orchard Road. Priced at $58++ per person, embark your high-tea journey with our local pride, the Chicken Rice, before proceeding onto the oh-so-tender Beef Rendang. The sweet tooths will relish in the latest dessert, Tropical Verinne, a fusion of mango compote, coconut mousse, and passionfruit cremeaux. Fork out an additional $20++ for a glass of Duetz Champagne.
