As we’re approaching the end of July, meat lovers are in for a treat with Summer Hill‘s Fried Chicken Day and Bedrock Bar & Grill‘s returning. On the other hand, seafood aficionados will be thrilled by a sea urchin feast at The Lighthouse and Madame Fan‘s new menus in the evening. V Dining‘s one-night-only takeover is all-green so vegetarians have something to look forward to as well!
A Sea Urchin Extravaganza at The Lighthouse

Available till 26 July, the four-course menu ($148++ per person) curated by Chef Carlo Marengoni, will start off with the zesty Hokkaido Scallop Carpaccio, followed by the oh-so-tender Veal Tenderloin that’s dribbled with sea urchin sauce. End on a sweet note with the Amalfi Lemon Custard, Sorbet and Limoncello.
Chef Marengoni’s Signature Sea Urchin Specials is available till 26 July 2019, Mon-Fri 12pm – 2.30pm (Set Lunch) and Mon-Sun 6.30pm – 10.30pm (Dinner Menu), at The Lighthouse Restaurant & Rooftop Bar, The Fullerton Hotel, 1 Fullerton Square, Singapore 049178, p. +65 6877 8140.
Celebrate Summer Hill’s Fried Chicken Day
Love fried chicken? Our favourite neighbourhood bistro Summer Hill is hosting their Fried Chicken Day. You can choose between the French Fried Chicken, tossed in a concoction of brown butter, herbs and lemon and honey, or the Spicy Fried Chicken for that tangy heat. Alongside homemade milk buns, there are 10 selection of fresh and palate-cleansing sides that move away from the usual heavy carbs, such as marinated beets with housemade goat’s ricotta, butternut pumpkin-tahini dip, and lemon salsa verde pasta salad. Reservations highly recommended.
Summer Hill’s Fried Chicken Day will be held on 28 July 2019, from 12pm – 4pm and 5pm – 10pm, at Summer Hill, 106 Clementi Street 12, #01-62, Singapore 120106, p. +65 6251 5337.
