Back this year for its 10th-anniversary run, the Singapore Grand Prix Formula 1 race yet again promises a glorious action-packed weekend of street circuit action for F1 fans. But for adrenaline junkies of the culinary or boozy variety, you won’t want to miss these 5 exciting things we’ve picked out for you, from an elegant steakhouse dinner overlooking the circuit to an exclusive A-lister party right by the bay!
See the action up close and dine at Wooloomooloo Steakhouse
Live life in the fast lane (as close as possible anyway) at Wooloomooloo Steakhouse, situated right by Turn 9 of the circuit and offering decent close-up views of the action. Look forward to specially-curated a la carte dinner menus on Friday and Saturday, and on Sunday, an open kitchen and bar that sees free-flow premium canapes, a carving station, seafood on ice, cheese, and desserts, presented buffet-style. The spectacular spread includes tiger prawn cocktails, Irish crab claws, herb-marinated Angus, roasted lamb, blueberry calamansi tartlets, and… vodka jello shots? Yes, please.

If no cover charge, no VIP sections, and no celebrities sound like your kind of F1 weekend activity, make your way to Me@OUE, perched on the rooftop level of OUE Bayfront. Not to mention, you’ll find one of the cheapest beer buckets in town (five bottles of Steinlager Pure at $25 from 6pm on Friday and Sunday, and all day on Saturday.
Other happy hour perks include $7 housepour spirits and premium housepours at just $10, including Balvenie 12, Glenfiddich 12, and Hendricks – all as you overlook the entirety of Marina Bay and the Esplanade bridge, the fastest section of the F1 track.

The World’s Highest Barbecue Brunch at Stellar
Revv up the festivities at a whopping 282 metres above the Marina Bay street circuit, with Stellar at 1-Altitude’s weekend barbecue brunch. The outdoor cookout, which takes places across two levels, will feature signature Tajima Wagyu sausages and sliders, prawn skewers, miso salmon. The highlight? A whole Mayura Wagyu quarter slowly roasted over the coals to beefy perfection. Hosting its very first series of F1 after-parties is LuLu’s Lounge with ‘Va Va Vroom’, a multi-sensory experience of live entertainment that run the gamut from live jazz and burlesque (or boylesque) to the downright snazzy – gogo dancers and drag queens. Adding to the dynamic lineup is one of Singapore’s most recognised DJs, Matteblacc, as he soothes you down from the excitement of the race, as well as Lulu Liquor & Luc Lovegun from Perth – ready to dish out the best of Neo & Traditional burlesque.
