Malaysia’s creative arts festival Urbanscapes is back in business this year at the Horse Ranch at Resorts World Genting and there’s just so much to get excited about. Besides the experiential art and stunning visual displays, there will be a mammoth line up of compelling music artists to entertain the crowd. Headlining is Grammy award winner Kimbra with her versatile style of dance funk. Psychedelic dance band Jagwar Ma will also be thrilling the crowd with their mind-melting, soul grabbing grooves and 90’s college rock outfit The Lemonheads will see that the audience’s energy levels are high throughout with fast paced punk riffs. For those who bleed local music, artists such as Najwa, Biji Biji and Paperplane Pursuit are part of an impressive amalgamation of Malaysian performers who have their flags flying high. What else is there to look out for? Cool temperatures to escape the blazing tropical heat!
