Vent Box 2014 Underground Music Festival features 10 local bands and 3 overseas bands from various genres such as black metal, hardcore, grind core, thrash and many more.
Playing in this festival are familiar names in the local underground scene such as Cardiac Necropsy (Death Metal), Overthrown (Hardcore), The Bois (Oi!), The Wreckage (Death Metal) and more. After a hiatus of 13 years, Ilemauzar (Black Metal) will also be playing their debut home gig after their first performance in Rock in Solo 2013 (Indonesia) and Black Coronation Festival 2014 (Perth).
Catch overseas bands, Green Army, an upcoming band from Bangladesh with an EP in their belt and Nexus, tech death band from Australia. Be awed by Nexus’ swift drum works and raw energy of their guitar plays.
Indonesian Death metal band Djin, who just played in the much coveted Hammersonic International Metal Festival 2014, will be gracing the stage for us as well. For those who saw them playing in Hammersonic, you can be sure they are going to be so much better! Truth Be Known will also be replacing one of our local bands who could not make it due to government obligations.
