Live, Love, and Wonder at Wonderfruit Festival

Thailand’s globally conscious, boutique camping festival Wonderfruit may have happened more than a couple of months ago, but we still remember its wondrous magic. More than just a festival, it’s a way of life – a broad and all-encompassing platform that promotes and celebrates positive, impactful social change. And on behalf of everyone who attended, we’ll return to the festival ground in a heartbeat.
Even though the passing of Thailand’s King Bhumibol Adulyadej led to the postponement of the event from December to February 2017, the folks at Wonderfruit made it up with a constant flow of activities, art, food and entertainment. The Wonderfruit app also came in really handy when planning your daily schedule.
While you can sit behind your screen and hear me rave about everything from A to Z, I’ve narrowed it down to 6 solid reasons on why you shouldn’t be sitting the next one out:
Guaranteed good vibrations
No aggressive ravers, no drama queens – just happy campers.
A Wide variety of food vendors
We’re used to festivals that serve us bangers and mash, sandwiches and fries. But Wonderfruit takes the food programming to the next level with Thai street food vendors, farm-to-feasts and pop-up cafes with solid music line-up such as Rocketfruit and Marcel.
Impressive art installations
From stage productions to interactive art installations, we’re sure that there’s at least one out there that will impress you.
Cleanliness
Forget about clogged toilets, dirty showers, and a lack of toilet rolls – because they don’t exist at Wonderfruit.
Magical sunrise and sunset sessions
I practically live for these hours. The beautiful sunrises and sunsets coupled with positive energy and uplifting music in the background are truly the simplest pleasures in life.
Inspiring talks and workshops
Apart from indulging in the food and entertainment, we do enjoy the workshops, meditation classes with the gong and talks hosted by people who care enough for the earth. Awe-inspiring and definitely make you want to make a difference.
