Women in War (Phase 3) Performative Art
Emerging from the Objectifs Artist Studio residency programme, educator and image-maker Nurul Huda Rashid’s third instalment in a four-part project that identifies women as the subject matter in war and conflict photography manifests in Women in War (Phase 3).  The programme starts with a 30 minute performance-meditation entitled “Notes to Her” and will be followed with a sharing of how bodily representations of women are mapped and traced in images of war to identify the various forms in which suffering take place through physically performing them.
Women In War (Phase 3) will be held on 23 February 2019 at Objectifs Workshop Space, from 1pm – 2.30pm. Admission is free, but you can save a seat here. For more details, check out the event page here.
