If you missed last years sold-out debut of Pangdemonium’s debut production of Dragonflies at Singapore International Festival of Arts, fret not as it returns to the stage from 18 May to 3 June 2018. Set in 2021,  Dragonflies follows the turbulent journey of Leslie Chen (Adrian Pang) and his family as they struggle to survive in a hostile world of far-right politics, global warming and worldwide paranoia in search of hope and a place to call home. Toruk The First Flight By Cirque Du Soleil

Enter the mystical world of the Na’vi with Toruk – The First Flight. Nothing will come close to the live experience as Cirque Du Soliel transports you to the world of Pandora in a visually stunning spectacle. This masterful creation of an imaginary world full of magical creatures like the Toruk will take your breath away.

Kampung Boogie Presents Darker Than Wax

Party into the night as Kampung Boogie returns to the Great Escape with electronic music label ‘Darker Than Wax’ . MC SWTLKR and DJs Ramesh, Daryl C, Kaye and the Funk Bast*rd! will be supplying some sweet tunes to boogie to at another no-frills rooftop carpark discotheque.

Kampung Boogie presents Darker Than Wax is happening 1 June 2018 from 9pm till late. $15 entry fee to The Great Escape. 

Urashima Taro

Be captivated by the stunning visuals and masterful puppetry in Urashima Taro. The award-winning Rouge28 Theatre presents this incredible tale of lust, obsession, betrayal and loss performed by solo artist Aya Nakamura who simultaneously plays both actress and puppeteer. Catch this production during Flipside, a 10-day festival presented by Esplanade with unconventional performances, large-scale installation art, and pop-up arts and technology experiences.

Urashima Taro is happening on 31 May to 3 June 2018 at the Esplanade Theatre Studio. Tickets are priced at $38 and available here

Ladies of the Dark with Shinedoe (NED) & Amber H

Get ready for a sensual, explorative trip to the beyond with Shinedoe at Kilo Lounge. The Amsterdam-based DJ has made a huge impact on the city’s burgeoning scene and spins deep techno and house with a warmth and style that is distinctly her own. Delivering high-quality electronic dance music each time she graces the DJ booth, check her out along with Amber H this Saturday!

Ladies of the Dark is happening on 2 June 2018 at Kilo Lounge from 10pm till late. Cover charge before midnight at $20 and after midnight at $30.
