Art Day Out! at Gillman Barracks is back, and so is garden picnic party Garden Beats. This weekend also sees the 12th edition of an iconic dining event in Singapore.

Singapore Design Week5 Things To Do

The largest Singapore Design Week yet, this year sees a diverse range of more than 100 design events and programmes curated for design and lifestyle-conscious individuals. Take your pick from an exciting line-up of design activities like interactive installations, exhibitions, lifestyle events, craft workshops, as well as thought-provoking sharing and discussions. Book your tickets for the immensely popular  Design Trails and look forward to the debut of Design and Make Fair.

Francophonie Festival
5 Things To Do

With the aim of promoting intercultural dialogue and celebrating the diversity of the French language and francophone communities around the world, Alliance Française‘s Francophonie Festival. Enjoy The Canterville Ghost in the presence of director Yann Samuell; meet Edwy Plenel, the famous French political journalist who shook-up the world of digital journalism; listen to the beautiful chansons of Noga and Patrick Bebey; and travel to the Middle East through a series of photographs.

Art Day Out! at Gillman Barracks – March Edition

Gillman Barracks is hosting yet another edition of Art Day Out! this Saturday, which includes an educational talk on art collecting, new gallery exhibitions, open artist studios, art activities for children, guided tours by docents, and ice cream at new tenant, Creamier. By popular demand, Red Baron and the Singapura Dub Club will present part 2 of their Jamaican music and BBQ street party featuring 2 types of jerk chicken and Ska, Reggae and Dancehall tunes.

Sunshine Nation presents Garden Beats Festival 2016

Dust off your picnic blanket and throw on your floral prints for Sunshine Nation‘s electronic picnic festival Garden Beats. where you and 2, 500 other electronic music lovers will enjoy in the leafy heart of Fort Canning Park an eclectic international and local DJ line-up across two stages. Let your dancing feet loose to household names such as Alle FarbenFaul & Wad, Jan Blomqvist, and LOVRA. Bring along your own culinary delights for the picnic, or get your supplies from on-site caterers Marco Marco, Meat Liquor, Lime House and Selva Foods.

Singapore Restaurant Week: Feasts of the Ocean

Back for its 12th edition this weekend, the Singapore Restaurant Week will be luring diners to more than 100 of our city’s top dining establishments with sumptuous offerings and exclusive menus to the theme of ‘Feasts of the Ocean’. Participating restaurants include first-timers Fort by Maison Ikkoku, ilLido at The Cliff, Sushi Meida, and returning favourites such as Sky On 57, Long Chim, Wooloomooloo Steakhouse, and Bacchanalia.

Participating restaurants will be offering exclusive three-course menus for both lunch and dinner priced at $28++ and $38++ respectively. Dining City Star-Awarded restaurants will offer their set menus at $40++ for lunch and $58++ for dinner.
