This week sees the return of the ‘Prince of Romance’ Richard Clayderman, the exclusive Singapore Yacht Show, and a special double-bill screening of two Eric Khoo films. Richard Clayderman – Live in Singapore
Anyone who’s ever vaguely touched a piano would have heard of him. Widely known as The Prince of Romance, Richard Clayderman has recorded over 1300 melodies, and his distinctive piano style has earned him a superstar status all over the world. With an incredible 267 Gold and 70 Platinum discs to his name, Clayderman is practically ‘the most successful pianist in the world’ – according to The Guinness Book of World Records, anyway.
Richard Clayderman is performing on Tuesday, 5 April 2016, 8pm at The Star Theatre. Tickets are priced at $198, $168, $138, $98 and are available via SISTIC.

Mee Pok Man: 20 Years
Have you heard of Eric Khoo’s Mee Pok Man? One of Singapore’s most acclaimed and recognisable films to date, it’s pretty much the seminal film that revived the local film industry back in the 90s. This year marks its 20th anniversary, and The Projector and Asian Film Archive are proud to present a double screening of Mee Pok Man and Pain. Through a mix of restored and rarely-seen material, in-depth dialogues and talks with Eric Khoo himself, head down and explore the stories, history, and legacy behind the film.
Mee Pok Man: 20 Years is happening on Friday, 8 April 2016, 8pm at The Projector. Tickets are priced at $13 and are available here.
The Fever at BluJaz: RnB & Hip-Hop Party
Join the folks at Blujaz for another wild episode of The Fever, a night of old-school to new-school hip-hop and RnB by DJ D-SWIFT (AUS) and JAG (SG), with party favourites from other genres thrown into the mix. No dress code, fun people, cheap drinks, non-stop party bangers all night and your favourite jams from past to present. ‘Nuff said.
