This Wednesday, we’ll be be hosting our inaugural #CNBarHop, which will take you around to some of the best bars in the CBD. This week also sees the return of Shakespeare in the Park and SAVOUR, the largest gourmet food fair in Singapore. Come the weekend, experience the decadence of 1920s Shanghai in The Black Swan’s Electro Ball, and drink some beer… for charity!

With the company of like-minded individuals, we’ll be traversing Club Street and Amoy Street neighbourhood, sampling the best of what Singapore’s drinking scene has to offer. Shakespeare in the Park – Romeo & Juliet

Witness the greatest love story ever told this year, spread your picnic blanket under the stars and relish in Romeo & Juliet, played by an amazing cast and directed by Daniel Slater. Shakespeare in the Park – Romeo & Juliet is running until 22 May 2016 (Wed-Sun, 7.30pm) at Fort Canning Park. Tickets are priced at $40 (advance), $50 (door) and are available via SISTIC. For more information, see SRT’s website.
SAVOUR Gourmet
Singapore premier food fair SAVOUR is back this Thursday! ELECTRO BALL 2016 – Shanghai Swing
Succumb to the mystique of old Shanghai, known as the wickedest city of the world. This year’s Electro Ball pays homage to 1920s/30s Shanghai, where hollywood glamour, Chinese sensibilities and sumptuous iniquity converge. They’ll be celebrating all that what was sinister and sublime about the original Sin City with a ecstatic showcase by AVNEESH (Electrocaine, MU), spectacular acrobats, showgirl coquetry and cheeky dancers.

Homebrew Charity Cup
Love all things beer? Kill two birds with one stone this weekend at the Homebrew Co-Op this Sunday and taste everything from British Golden Ale, Australian Sparkling Ale, English IPA, American IPA, or even Speciality IPAs such as Belgian or Rye. All proceeds from the tastings will go to charity, so there’s your excuse for going home drunk.
