Say hello to the newest and hottest bar in town. Here, cocktails are more than just mere drinks, combining storytelling with traditions and culture. This plush yet minimalist cocktail lounge celebrates the purity of a cocktail experience, showcasing the diversity and rich heritage of Asian spirits by removing visible alcohol brands, letting drinks be judged on their own merit, rather than any preconceived bias.

Led by industry veteran and owner Michel Lu (founder of The Orientalist Spirits and the creator of BARSTARS) and General Manager Treyna Zhang, CODA’s offerings are as nuanced as they are imaginative. The menu is now split into two distinct categories: CODA Classics, featuring reinterpretations of familiar favourites, and CODA Signatures, showcasing bold new creations that push boundaries. While the bar takes pride in celebrating Asian heritage spirits like baijiu, sake, shochu, soju, and arak; often aged and infused with regional ingredients, you’ll still find the full spectrum of global classics, from vodka and gin to whisky and rum, ensuring there’s something for every palate. Among the 16 cocktails across both sections is Bamboo, a signature creation layered with vodka, bamboo leaf, fenjiu, Shaoxing rice wine, and osmanthus.
