A Midsummer Night’s Dream is a 1999 romantic comedy directed by Michael Hoffmann with an all-star cast, which made up of Michelle Pfeiffer, Christian Bale, Kevin Kline and Rupert Everett. Possibly one of Shakespeare’s most popular works for the stage, the story revolves around the adventures of four young Athenian lovers and a group of amateur actors who are controlled by the fairies living in the forest in which the play is set.
