RWS Invites you to Halloween Horror Nights™ 5

A rare solar occurrence, or an omen of doom? A scientific phenomenon, or the work of devils? Whatever you believe, a super blood moon has converged over Universal Studios Singapore™ at Resorts World Sentosa this October, and the apocalyptic consequences of a dystopian future are just about to unravel.

Welcome to Halloween Horror Nights™ 5.

To prevent itself from turning into an abominable wasteland, Universal Studios Singapore™ has sequestered every diabolical ghoul into 4 haunted houses and 3 scare zones, to contain them in the hope that there will be a light at the end of the tunnel.

Incinerating everything in a blaze, the Hell House is a zone of bedevilment, with its Paper Servants masters of the flame. Even if you survive hell’s burning heat, Siloso Gateway Block 50 is a breeding ground for carnage. Filled with diseased zombies ready to pounce at the slightest whiff of human flesh, its spine-chilling corridors are definitely not for the faint of heart. Thankfully, a potential escape route comes in the form of The MRT…until you bump into the Toyols, Hantu Rayas, and Pontianaks roaming the cursed tracks looking for their next victims.

And that’s not all; brave souls also need to look out for the Tunnel People in dark crevices and underground tunnels. Lurching in the darkness, these demonic creatures have been patiently waiting their whole lives till the advent of the super blood moon, waiting to defile those pure of heart.

The Chinese Lunar Calendar isn’t spared the lunar eclipse’s monstrosity as well. Villagers dutifully perform nightly rituals of the Hungry Ghost Festival, yet they still suffer visits from apparitions when darkness falls. As if things couldn’t get any worse; there has also been a sudden invasion of extraterrestrial savages who have taken us by siege and are holding innocent people hostage. Will we be able to fight back against The Invaders?

Finally, the poor deformed and diseased folks in conTERMINATED who were quarantined and left to fend for themselves by an uncaring and malicious government have transformed into creatures with a serious bloodlust. Seek refuge from these brutish cannibals by heading over to the Beast Club, where you can dance the night away with a medley of friendly spirits and fun-loving monsters.

Running on select dates from Friday, 2 October to Saturday, 31 October 2015 at Universal Studios Singapore™, this year’s ultimate scare-fest is set to be bigger and badder than ever before.

When Joel’s not partaking in one of his shameless eating sessions, he likes to think of himself as a sponge – absorbing the mysteries and beauty of our world – be it through a good book or a wacky jaunt in a foreign country.
