CANVAS presents Goldie (Metalheadz, UK)

23 APR 2016 | Pioneer, graffiti artist, drum ‘n’ bass icon, DJ, actor and producer. Goldie is a total original, a multi-talented complex shape shifter, who’s sold more than 2.5 million records worldwide.

Against all odds, and despite a traumatic childhood, he succeeded in unleashing his boundless creativity from a very young age, having transformed an underground British sound into a mainstream interna- tional movement, whilst collaborating with major pop icons along the way.

It was his move to London and a visit to the Rage Club in 1991 that things changed for the graffiti artist and the music genesis was born. DJ Fabio and Grooverider were playing that night and gave Goldie a taste of Jungle.

Whilst Goldie was seeing the birth and growth of the now infamous Drum and Bass label Metalheadz, he found the time to create an al- bum which to this day, is as it is titled, “Timeless”.
