2020 has been a great year for streaming services, with cinemas closed and Netflix (with a glass of vino or an ice cold pint) becoming a regular part of our day. But 2021 will be a greater year for us Singaporean streamers, with a highly anticipated service set to land on our shores very soon. That’s right, Disney+ will launch in Singapore on 23 February 2021, featuring over 500 films and 15,000 episodes of content to keep you entertained.
For S$11.98 per month or S$119.98 per year, enjoy commercial-free viewing on up to four concurrent streams, unlimited downloads on up to ten devices. Take advantage of content across six different brands: Disney, Pixar, Marvel, Star Wars, National Geographic, and Star. So whether you’re after some heartwarming animated films, an action-packed blockbuster, or want to learn about the mating habits of red-capped manakin, they’ve got you covered.
Exclusive Blockbusters and Original Films
One thing that Disney+ has on other streaming services is their exclusive library featuring blockbusters like Avengers: Endgame and Disney’s live action adaptions like The Lion King. Disney+ Originals also boasts a range of enviable content like Hamilton as well as WandaVision and the upcoming miniseries Loki. Fellow nerds can also get ready to have a Star Wars marathon, with Disney+ streaming all 12 movies in the franchise.
Family-Friendly Content
The wide range of Disney+ content also means that there’s something for everyone in the family. Kiddos will be well-entertained with Marvel blockbusters and animation favourites like Frozen 2 and Black Panther. Millennials can indulge in some childhood nostalgia with old-school classics like Mulan and the Home Alone series. If you like something a little more adult, we recommend the risqué but impeccable humour of Deadpool.
Subscribe to Disney+ directly on their website or with the Disney+ app on Android and iOS.
