The homegrown gourmet food festival we all know and love is back this year with an all-new, expanded festival line-up that will bring not one, but three distinctly unique experiences to you foodies – starting with the first edition, SAVOUR Gourmet, happening 12 to 15 May 2016.

Catering to food enthusiasts of all levels, this dining playground is one of the most elaborate and diversified food festivals in Singapore. The always-popular Gourmet Market will feature exceptional produce from all over the world, and of course, the al fresco Gourmet Village filled with restaurants, celebrity chefs, themed bars and live music.

For the first time in SAVOUR history, you can visit the festival (situated within the scenic Marina Bay) without forking up a dime upfront. You’ll still get to enjoy dishes at the Gourmet Village at affordable prices of $6 and $12 by a stellar lineup of restaurants that includes the likes of Artichoke, Gattopardo, Labyrinth, and Buona Terra. Complete your SAVOUR experience with a visit to Jasons Gourmet Market, where you can sample the best of seafood – think over 20 types of oysters (the most diverse to date) and the freshest crustaceans. At the wine terrace, taste up to 70 bottles of principal wines from around the world, or try over 200 cheeses at the famous cheese room, matched with Iberico ham, Miyazaki wagyu, and other fine cuts from the delicatessen.

Emerging Chefs Competition

This year also marks the debut of the DBS Live Your Dream initiative at SAVOUR. The competition affords the island’s best and brightest an opportunity to lead their respective restaurants, pit themselves against the best of their contemporaries, and dazzle guests with new and innovative offerings.

You, too, can help to pick out our next culinary star by voting for your favourite dishes and chefs during the four-day long competition – a voting card will be given with every transaction made at the Gourmet Village.
