The Magic of Black Garlic at Min Jiang at One-North
Often lauded for its health benefits and intense unique flavour (the result of an extended ageing process), black garlic will be in the spotlight at Min Jiang at One-North for a month, featured in dishes such as Double Boiled Black Chicken Soup, Sautéed Beef Cubes with two kinds of garlic, Steamed Lobster, Pan-fried Sea Perch, and many others. Using Japanese black garlic, the ingredient is only added by Master Chef Goh Chee Kong – who has been garnering fans of his elegant Modern Sichuan and Cantonese dishes since 2006 – in the final stages of cooking so its nutritional benefits and subtle sweet dimensions are perfectly retained.
Available 15 March to 14 April 2017. Min Jiang at One-North is located at 5 Rochester Park, Singapore 139216, p. +65 6774 0122. Open daily 11.30am – 2.30pm, 6.30pm – 10.30pm.
