Alila Gets Raw With Celebrity Chef Silvena Rowe

Britain’s top female chef, the feisty and fiercely talented Silvena Rowe, will be breezing into Bali from 28th January – 1st February 2016 as Guest Chef in Residence at Alila Villas Soori, and then at Alila Ubud from 2nd – 6th February 2016. During her Alila residency, Silvena will be sharing with the Alila kitchens the ins and outs of raw food preparation as well as assisting them in crafting raw food menus using local ingredients that would extend raw food options to the resorts’ guests.
The daughter of a Turkish-born journalist and a Bulgarian museum conservator, Silvena is a self-taught celebrity chef who kick-started a raw food revolution in Dubai, advocating the numerous health benefits of raw foods and vegetables.
