COPTIC BOOKBINDING WORKSHOP

Bynd Artisan‘s Master Craftsman, Mr Chong conducts Leather Goods/ Notebooks and Paper Product-making classes for the public at the Atelier’s dedicated workshop space in hope of imparting impart decades of preserved skills of the trade to the students.

As an intermediate workshop, you will be learning the skills of Kettle Stitching. Combine folded paper sections by sewing them together at the spine edge. Select from a wide array of fabric colours to make your own book cover. Create an unique notebook with exposed spine that celebrates your diligence and fortitude in Coptic book binding.
