Party like a Nomad this NYE

Argh! New Year’s Eve – so much pressure to have a good time! Where to go? who to go with? what to wear? how to get home? who am I going to kiss when the clock strikes midnight? You wouldn’t have thought we had done this every single year would you! While some of you will be falling into all the same old traps, others might be tempted just to sack the whole thing off and we say NO!!!! Don’t be silly and do that, just pick a party from our New Year’s Eve round up, throw caution to the wind and go with it..

Sideshow Presents Beats in the Backyard

Sideshow takes over the backyard at Dempsey for another one of their epic parties. Cold beers, BBQ, no dress code or cover charge, music from Funk Bast*rd (Cosa Nostra/Darker Than Wax), Shellsuit, Chunk and Code (Pushin’On), with live drums from Aidan Bamrah, this is just the sort of New Year’s party that we dig. Leave your attitude at home because this one comes free n easy.

Brand New Day – NYE at Tanjong Beach Club

Nothing like seeing in the New Year with the sand under your feet we say. And if you didn’t manage to escape the city for other shores, this is as close as you’re going to get to it. Hang out with DJs Zig Zach and Nad-trix as they take you through to 2013 in a glorious confetti-filled haze complete with LEDs, light sticks, fire twirlers, floating lanterns and more. Make sure you pre-book your cabs (failing that Maxicab) to get you home on New Year’s Day, unless you feel like walking home from Sentosa!
