Limited Time Only: Dim Sum Lunch Buffet at Min Jiang
In tandem with the launch of new dim sum dishes, Min Jiang has launched an a la carte dim sum lunch buffet, available daily till 11 January 2017. Priced at $35++ per adult and $17.50 per child (minimum two to dine), Goodwood Park Hotel’s stalwart Sichuan and Cantonese restaurant will be featuring 15 varieties of dim sum on the buffet menu. Besides unlimited servings of Mushroom Bun with Lotus Seed Paste & Pine Nuts and Deep Fried Yam Puff with Scallop, look forward one-time servings of Pan-seared Kurobuta Cutlet in goma (sesame) sauce and Deep-fried Avocado Kadaifi.

Penang Hawkers’ Fare Back at White Rose Café
White Rose Café’s thrice-yearly Penang Hawkers’ Fare is probably the best Penang food you’ll get in Singapore, since the Penang hawkers are handpicked and flown into Singapore to recreate their specialties. Priced at $29++ on weekdays and $33++ on weekends ($20++ and $23++ per child respectively), expect a buffet line replete with your favourite Penangite dishes like Char Kway Teow, Penang Laksa, Lor Bak (a popular fried snack of five-spice meat rolls, prawn fritters and more), Penang Rojak, and Cuttlefish Kang Kong. Since this edition concludes the 30th anniversary of Penang Hawkers’ Fare, diners will also stand a chance to win a trip to Penang next year!

Esquina Celebrates Fifth Anniversary with Special Menu and Collaborative Dinner Series
Celebrating five years of dishing out contemporary Spanish and Catalan cuisine, Esquina is introducing a five-course Anniversary Tasting Menu at $55++. Availble for lunch (Tue-Thu) and dinner (Mon-Thu), it features restaurant signatures like the Grilled Spanish Octopus, Tsarskaya Oysters, and Spanish Nigiri. On top of that, Chef Carlos will be collaborating with local and international chefs for a series of five four-hands dinners. Priced at $148++ per person, the first one is happening 15 December (6pm and 8.30pm) with Chef LG Han of Labyrinth (menu here). The line-up also includes Nacho Baucells of El Celler de Can Roca (18-19 Jan 2017), Sun Kim of Meta (1 Mar), Diego Jacquet of BoCHINche and ZOILO (23 Mar), and Julien Royer (late Apr). Osteria Mozza Launches Italian Regional Dinner Series
Celebrity chef Mario Batali was in town recently to launch Osteria Mozza’s monthly dining series that focuses on the different regions of Italy. December kicks off with the spotlight on Piedmont with its highly prized white Alba Truffles and Barolo wines. Available daily during dinner till mid-January 2017, the menu features classic Piedmontese dishes like Tajarin with Alba Truffles, a thin and rich egg pasta tossed in Italian butter, parmigiano reggiano, and finished shavings of the prized white Alba truffles, and Braised Beef Cheeks, cooked in Barolo wine and veal stock with celery root puree and Gremolata. Priced at $128++ per person, or $228++ with wine pairing, the future months will see Osteria Mozza take on regions like Emilia Romagna, Fruili, and Tuscany.
