Full Steam Ahead: An Indie-Disco Beach Festival Series

What do yoga, massages, beer pong, and snake charming have in common? They’re all happening this weekend at Tanjong Beach Club. Featuring a stellar line up of local and international DJs include Aeroplane, Loulou Players, Dave Does, and Wee Like Me of Poptart, Full Steam Ahead is one beach festival you don’t want to miss. TRIBES

A funny and moving play written by Nina Raine, TRIBES won the 2012 Drama Desk Award for Outstanding Play. The story sees protagonist Billy (Thomas Pang), who is the sole deaf member of his eccentric and dysfunctional family – including Father (Adrian Pang), Mum (Susan Tordoff), Big Brother (Gavin Yap), and Sis (Frances Lee) – and his journey to finally being heard. Tom Rhodes Live in Singapore

Prepare to laugh your heart out this Wednesday with American comedian Tom Rhodes, who was the first comedian Comedy Central signed when it started in the 1990s!

Irma Live in Singapore

Franco-Cameroonian singer-songwriter Irma will be performing for the first time in Singapore this week. This former YouTube star released her first album ‘Letter to the Lord’ in February 2011 in France, where it climbed to the top 10 and was certified platinum a year later. She’ll also be presenting her second album Faces.
