June is coming to an end, but summer’s onslaught of activities has just begun. This week’s edition sees a multitude of booze-related events, from our very own whiskey appreciation series, to Singapore’s ultimate beer festival. Check them out:

Beerfest Asia 2015

On the bucket list of every beer geek in town, Beerfest Asia 2015 is back for the 7th year running. With over 400 beers and ciders available – coupled with comedy performances, live music, and great food – this year’s festival is set to be a blast. Beerfest Asia will be held from Thursday, 25 June to Sunday, 28 June 2015 at the Marina Promenade (the F1 tracks behind the Singapore Flyer).

Another Country by W!ld Rice

A joint collaboration between Singaporean and Malaysian production teams, Another Country is a humorous play that takes a look at quirky similarities between the two countries. Directed by Singapore’s Ivan Heng and Malaysia’s Jo Kukathas, this production also features a stellar cast from both sides of the causeway, and is one show not to be missed!

Another Country will run from Thursday, 25 Jun to Saturday, 11 Jul 2015 at the Drama Centre Theatre.

Baybeats 2015

Get ready for some fist-pumping and body surfing at the Esplanade this weekend, as some of Singapore’s finest musicians hit the big stage. Audiophiles are definitely in for a treat, with a mix of genres from chill out to hardcore metal ready to be blasted from the stereo. Best of all, admission for the 3 day event is free!

Baybeats 2015 is running from Friday, 26 June to Sunday, 28 June at Esplanade.

Supermoon Party at 1-Altitude

Get your beach bum on this saturday at 1-Altitude, as Singapore’s highest rooftop bar will hold a beach themed party to kick off the summer season. Be amazed by skilful fire eaters, twirlers, jugglers, and drummers, all while kicking back crazy cocktail concoctions, as the dance floor heats up at the pinnacle of the CBD.

Supermoon Party is happening Saturday, 27 June at 1 Altitude, 6pm till late. Cover charge is priced at $35.

Dress code: Beach casual

City Nomads x LMDW: Whisky Appreciation

Following the debut of our very own After Hours Series, the Nomads team are collaborating with the folks at Fine Spirits by La Maison Du Whisky (yet again) to appreciate blended whisky with you guys. This time, we’ll be focusing on the wondrous qualities of Compass Box blended whiskies from Scotland. Do take note however, we only have one session available left for booking!
