5 Things to Do This Week (6th July to 12th July 2015)

July is officially underway, and we couldn’t be more excited for all that’s happening in Singapore. This week sees more SG50 events, a well-loved musical from London’s West End, the debut of our very first cocktail workshop, and L.A’s hottest female DJ is returning to the Lion City to rock the decks at Velvet Underground.

So Darling, So Deadly

So Darling, So Deadly

Malaya Black & White’s Beyond Saint Jack segment is NUS Museum’s series of films that chronicles foreign cinematic productions filmed on location Singapore from the mid 1960s to early 1980s. A motley filmography of B-movies, commercial disasters, miscellaneous TV episodes, lost films, and bizarre curios – and So Darling, So Deadly (1966) counts itself amongst them –  these films have fossilised into mediums of nostalgia, even as the plot tells another story.

This event will take place on Wednesday 8 July, from 7 to 9pm at Ngee Ann Kongsi Auditorium, NUS University Town. Tickets can be purchased via Peatix.
