Swedish Film Festival 2016Things To Do in Singapore January 2016 - Swedish Film Festival

The Swedish film industry is growing exponentially, with more directors from Sweden making their entrance with indie films. Watch some of them for yourself at the inaugural Swedish Film Festival, presented by The Projector, The Embassy of Sweden and The Swedish Institute. Happening over four days at the end of the week, you’ll get to see a diverse selection of Swedish dramas, documentaries, comedies and short films screened for the first time in Singapore.

Singapore Grand Slam: 8 Storytellers, Your VoteThings To Do in Singapore January 2016 - Singapore Grand Slam

After two years of entertaining over 1000 members of the audience and 150 storytellers later, Story Slam Singapore is now ready to showcase The Grand Slam, a competition to find the best storyteller in Singapore. Starting off the night is Becca D’Bus, the local drag queen behind the cabaret-style extravaganza RIOT!. Featuring eight of the best storytellers since the inception of Story Slam Singapore, experience the impact of powerful real-life storytelling for yourself.

The Powder Room Presents: FRENCH KIWI JUICEThings To Do in Singapore January 2016 - French Kiwi Juice

Having performed to a sold-out crowd at Loof two years ago, French Kiwi Juice, or FKJ for short, returns to The Powder Room to debut his LIVE set here in Singapore. The Parisian producer joins the ranks of Roche Musique alumni, Darius, Kartell and Zimmer to champion an inimitable brand of heartfelt, summery aural aesthetics. We bet it’s going to be an awesome night of swooping basslines, groovy loops and dazzling improvisation.

ONE°15 Marina Pool PartyPool Party

Experience a pool party, Miami Beach style, with supercars on display, luxurious champagne and cocktails, great food (with BBQ stations and a wide selection of mains) as well as entertainment all evening. The gorgeous DJ Yuliya from Russia will be taking over the decks along with UK rock and roll band Goober Gun and alternate all the way till midnight.
