5 Things To Do This Week In Singapore: 10 July To 16 July 2017

It’s a cheerful week ahead with the circus and a comedy troupe in town! Keep your spirits up with a Disney concert, followed by an enriching play and short film festival.

Cirque du Soleil’s KOOZA

Start the week with some thrills at KOOZA, this year’s offering from the circus masters Cirque du Soleil. Seen by over 7 million people since its debut in 2007, the lively production is a happy mix of clowning, acrobatics, and music. The cast of 50 are only here for a month before moving on to their next show venue, so hurry down to catch them before they pull a disappearing act.

Cirque du Soleil’s KOOZA is happening from 12 July to 20 August 2017, Tuesday – Friday 8pm, Saturdays 4.30pm and 8pm, and Sundays 1.30pm and 5pm. For more information, check out their website here.

Building upon a topic familiar to many, FRAGO tells the story of a group of army mates in reservist training. As they reconnect in the lull of their war game exercise, these men confront the ideas of brotherhood, triumph, and responsibility as they grapple with the challenges and experiences of turning 30. Watch this instead of Ah Boys To Men, or any of its sequels/ prequels/ spinoffs.

FRAGO is showing from 13 July to 23 July 2017, on Tuesdays – Fridays 8pm, Saturdays 3pm and 8pm, and Sundays 3pm at the National Library Drama Centre Theatre, 100 Victoria St, National Library Building, Singapore 188064. For more information, check out their event page here.
