As April comes to an end, check out an exiled American poet as he performs stories of his incarceration in the US prison system; the relaunch of an 17 year-old music party brand; the Fiverr edition of Thursday Social; National Gallery’s inaugural after-hours series; and a street party along Keong Saik road.
Organised by a poetry collective founded on a desire to give people a voice, SPEAK., a melting pot for lyricists to mix their innermost voices. This Wednesday features Kosal Khiev, a poet, tattoo artist, and survivor of the US prison system. Kosal was selected as the first artist-in-residence with Studio Revolt, a media lab that was based in Phnom Penh, where he collaborated on “Spoken Kosal: Verses in Exile,” a series of short films featuring his poetry.
