DRUM & BASS WITH A PINCH OF SOUL

Founded by drum & bass stalwart Zul Othman in the 90s, Subvert HQ have been rattling the Lion City’s bass bins ever since. Its DJs have collectively shared the decks with the likes of dBridge, DJ Friction, Joe Syntax, Stamina MC, John B, A-Sides, Pendulum, Cyantific, Sonic, London Elektricity, as well as Logistics and Chris Goss of Hospital Records. Its pulse on the leftfield sound has taken them on gigs from Hong Kong, Jakarta and London, amplified by live rotations on the airwaves and a release on Take Off Records squeezed in between.
