After a short hiatus, the Eyes To The Front Pool Party is back!
This end of the pool party series will be featuring Asia’s musical heavy hitters, alongside a solid crew of local talent. As before, $10 nett beer and wine will be served, as well as $15 nett burgers and other BBQ treats! Also back by popular demand is The Mojito Bar, offering up freshly made Mojitos for just $14 nett. As for the music:
Axel Groove
Axel Groove found his calling during his seven year stint living in the concrete jungles of Australia. Experiencing the underground music scene Down Under ignited his passion of spreading mad love to the masses with the sexy sounds of house music. He began making his rounds around town and has found himself a regular fixture in KL’s and Singapore’s clubbing scene. He has also shared the decks with the likes of Hot Since 82 (UK), Eats Everything (UK), Osunlade (USA), Sonny Fodera (AUS), Shiba San (FRA), Yuksek (FRA), Hercules and the Love Affair (US), Phil Weeks (FRA), Africa Hitech (UK), What So Not (Aus) and more. Inspired by the likes of Kerri Chandler all the way to Jamie Jones; his sets are explosions of a sexy blend of disco, house and deep tech vibes.
Miss H
Miss H has been involved in music and events before she was legally allowed to be in a club. Although she can’t pinpoint the precise moment when it took over, her life revolves entirely around music.
Heather began collecting vinyl in 1999 and immersed herself in the house, hip hop, disco and bass-heavy sounds that cross pollinate in Johannesburg’s music scene – leading her to become professionally affiliated with some of South Africa’s most influential festivals, clubs and record labels. Aimed squarely at the dancefloor, her DJ sets reflect an obsessive collector whose broad range of sonic interests range from house and techno to bass and disco.
Amy Dabbs
With her boundless energy behind the decks and over a decade dedicated to her DJ career, Amy Dabbs has played at some of London’s hottest venues, from Egg to 93 Feet East to the London based party she co-runs, Universal Vibes Presents. She has also spun at Alpfresco ski festival in Austria, playing as half of house music duo Another Late One, and most recently at Kilo for new night Breathe Deep.
After making her artist debut with ‘Lost City’ on renowned Italian label Rebirth in 2014, and subsequently remixing Violent Romance on Secret Life Music, Amy has continued to evolve and master her own sound over the past 12 months. She recently released an artist EP on New York’s i!Records, which was followed up with remixes from fellow UK producers Death on the Balcony in 2015, for whom she recently headlined.
Having now relocated to Singapore, and with new releases in the pipeline, Amy Dabbs is beginning to firmly establish a name for herself in the underground house scene.
This pool party takes place at Sofitel So Singapore on Saturday, 5 Sep, from 2pm onwards. There is no cover charge before 4pm, but guests will have to pay $10 after 4pm. For more information, check out the event page [here](https://www.facebook.com/events/882815718433328/).
