After the success of December Rains in August 2015, Toy Factory Productions is proud to present GRIND, A tapestry of stories involving 4 local gay men, contrasted against an immersive art installation that would fill the house with tarnished metallic fixtures.
GRIND is written & directed by award-winning director & playwright, Goh Boon Teck. Featuring a young and dynamic cast comprising of the good-looking and eloquent Mitchell Fang, rising and upcoming theatre director Stanley Seah, fresh new face Chong Woon Yong, and local singer & artist, Juni Goh.
The urgent gay agenda manifested through the eyes of gay men, Long, Tian, Pang & Gan. Set within the premises of the so-called conservative Singapore, their distant voices are often drowned by the majority. Their stories are weaved intricately from intimate topics of lust, love & family.
Grind – A Contemporary Gay Play is running from 24 March to 2 April 2016 (no shows on Mondays) at the Drama Centre Blackbox, offering two time-slots: 3pm, and 8pm. Tickets are priced at $42, and are available here.
