Enchanting Shreya Ghoshal – Live In Concert

From an early age Shreya Ghoshal has been surrounded by music and she inherited her music legacy from her mother. At four years old she began her music lessons , progressing and incorporating Hindu Classical music which she continued to study in her later years. It was during this study period that her love for Bollywood blossomed as she moved to the capital New Delhi in hopes of making it. Shreya’s career pursuit began in 1995 when she won the All India Light Vocal Music Competition and also went on to win the musical reality television game show ‘Sa Re Ga Ma Pa’.
She started recording in regional languages and in the year 2000 got her first break in the film Devdas directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali. She bagged the Film fare award for the ” Best Female Playback Singer
and the Filmfare R D Burman Award for New Music Talent for the same film. After Devdas, Shreya got immense recognition for her melodious voice. She has recorded with many eminent music directors like A R Rahman , Illya Raja, Anu Malik, Rajesh Roshan , Shankar Ehsan- Loy to name a few.
