Eat: CÉ LA VI
Whether you prefer being naughty or nice, the CÉ LA VI Valentine’s Day experience has got you covered. Start the evening with From Tokyo With Love, a refreshing sake cocktail with sweet and tart raspberries and yuzu, at the SkyBar, followed by an exquisite six-course dinner crafted by Executive Chef Joey Sergentakis at the restaurant. Look forward to contemporary Asian plates like Lemongrass Lobster Bisque with shellfish dumplings and Seared Foie Gras with yuzu marmalade on toasted brioche with mango and peanut crumble. Post dinner, the CÉ LA VI Club Lounge will be heating up with a Leather & Lace themed party. Besides complimentary entry for those dressed to theme, DJs Andrew T & Deepak will be curating the R&B and club anthems for that kinky and seductive ambience!

Stay: The Amara Sanctuary Resort Sentosa
Want to swap the hustle and bustle of the city for lush greenery and tranquility? Set amidst 3.8 hectares of gardens and natural tropical rainforest, Amara Sanctuary Resort Sentosa is probably the furthest you can go without leaving the country. Their two-day one-night Romantic Experience Package features a four-course dinner for two at Shutters, a hearty breakfast the next day, and a $38 voucher to Spa Luna. Inclusive of a glass of champagne, dinner highlights include Hokkaido Scallops on pearl corn puree with crème fraiche and prosciutto crisp, and US Black Angus Beef Tenderloin with grilled porcini mushrooms and bordelaise jus. The four-course dinner is also available on its own, at $188++ per couple.

Eat: Cook & Brew
The cosmopolitan couple won’t go wrong with a Valentine’s Day dinner at Cook & Brew, The Westin Singapore’s classy gastro-bar. Their one-night only Surf & Turf ($145++ for two) special pairs a juicy USDA 365-Day grain-fed ribeye (400g, done to your liking) and a whole Nova Scotia lobster with a bottle of Robert Mondavi Twin Oaks Chardonnay. The whole dinner will be accompanied with live music that will set a lovely atmosphere for a classic Valentine’s evening. If you’re planning a girls’ night out instead, Cook & Brew is offering free featured cocktails for ladies, as well as $10 nett house wines, beers, and spirits. That’s not all – Valentine’s Day will also see 2018 BACARDI® Legacy Singapore finalist Martin Villareal presenting his cocktail, Helena ($15++) – a tipple of aged rum, lillet blanc, and honey ginger cinnamon syrup.

If you’re looking to dine under a canopy of stars this Valentine’s Day, a three-course Western dinner with a bottle of Champagne in a private poolside cabana at Pool Grill might just be the thing! Work with the chef to customise your menu, or simply indulge in a specially-curated Valentine’s Day menu starring dishes such as Pan-fried Cod Fish with Avocado, Beetroot & Chorizo Migas, and Wagyu Beef Tenderloin with Oxtail, Barley Risotto, Porcini Mushroom & Jus. The dinner can also be enjoyed in the communal dining section of the restaurant, but if you prefer something more casual – like a quality buffet – Marriott Cafe on Level 1 is running a Love & Romance Dinner Buffet at $98++, including free flow sparkling wine, red and white wines, beer, and soft drinks.

This unique staycation is one for those eschewing the usual romantic overtures. W Singapore’s I Lawn For You sees lovers checking into cosy tents on the property’s verdant green grounds accentuated by palm trees swaying in the breeze. The evening starts off with a welcome drink and dinner being served to one’s private tent at sunset.
