Stop press! Boys and girls there is a very cool new kid on the block. Well actually no it’s not a kid, it’s a super stylee, cheeky and might we say rather sexy sunglasses label which is hot-footing it’s way over to Singapore from Australia for the very first time.
Yes not only are they uber cool and pretty much the ultimate year-round summer accessory but are also extremely kind on the bank balance with prices ranging from $49.95 – $99.95 SGD for a pair. Oh my gosh are we for real? Yes we are.
OK so picture the scene – we’re stepping back to the early nineties, think Long Beach California where bronzed jocks and long haired surfers mixed with the ska punk scene and this is exactly what the Le Specs collection is inspired by. Expect tough silhouettes with matte effects and brightly coloured finishes and excellent but affordable design.
We are loving the thick-rimmed wayfarer style Runaways which come in black or digital tiger print – roar!
Not to mention the round style Wasteland which comes in black, tort/gold or violet/bronze.
And you gotta love anything that is block style, bold and oversized like Square Chaos. If you can’t handle the heat of the orange neon, they’re also available in black.
And for all you pool sharks out there, these hot aviators will help you keep your game in check.
But that’s not all. Those who are still hankering after a bit of designer action, well there’s something for you too because Le Specs has also teamed up with renowned London fashion designer Henry Holland to create a limited range of sunglasses to make even the most discerning scenester sit up and pay attention.
Priced around $135 a pair, we are loving in particular the round style Hoodies with their quirky metal hoods which can turn even the most square of outfits on it’s head.
