A Clockwork Orange by Anthony Burgess

ABA Productions, Diva Productions and Glynis Henderson Productions proudly present the world’s most electrifying work of all time – A Clockwork Orange.

Banned for over 30 years, the all-male cast version of A Clockwork Orange makes its debut for the first time, here in Singapore. Directed by Alexandra Spencer-Jones, this testosterone-filled physical theatre ‘horror show’ exquisitely captures and transcends the spirit of Anthony Burgess’s original literary masterpiece, more than 50 years on from its publication.

A Clockwork Orange lures its audience into the glorious glass-edged nastiness of Manchester’s underworld. A playtime of orgiastic ultra violence and sexuality, it is the story of the psychopath protagonist Alex DeLarge and his Droogs. Get high at Korova Milkbar and embark on ‘a little of the old ultraviolence’ with the droogs before being reprimanded through a morally repugnant treatment by the state prison.

Through the eyes of Alex, explore the violent nature of humans, the free will that humans have to choose between good and evil and ask yourself, if the desolation of free will is a solution to evil?

Rated M18, the Media Development Authority of Singapore (MDA), has given this ultra-masculine and adrenaline-pumping performance its stamp of approval. Having enjoyed a sell-out run during The Edinburgh Festival and a subsequent sell-out season in London’s West End, this is one theatrical masterpiece not to be missed!

A Clockwork Orange will run from Wednesday, 4 November 2015 – Sunday, 8 November 2015 at the Esplanade Theatre.

Tickets are from $68, and can be purchased at any SISTIC outlets, by visiting Sistic online , or by SISTIC’s telephone booking hotline at +65 6348 5555. For more information, see [Facebook](https://www.facebook.com/ABASingapore).
